It was always Dr. Browne’s dream to live on the West Coast.

After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985,  Dr. Browne spent the first half of her career as a small animal practice owner and an emergency hospital locum veterinarian in SW Ontario.  The constant pull to visit and revisit the beauty of the western provinces finally allowed a dream to morph into reality when she moved here after selling her practice.

In 2009, Dr. Browne packed her bags, and her soulmate dog named Lilly, into her SUV and drove across this stunning country to settle in beautiful British Columbia. For the next 13 or so years, she practiced as a locum at a variety of small animal hospitals.

Not wanting to fully retire from veterinary medicine, Dr. Browne decided to gently remove herself from the hussle and bussle of the more involved aspects of veterinary medicine and focus her extended veterinary experience on wellness examinations, vaccines, medical care of stable patients, and other quality of life decisions for these precious cats and dogs we all love.

A house call practice allows Dr. Browne to be able to build a comfortable relationship with clients and their cats and dogs in the less stressful environment of their homes.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Browne enjoys spending time with friends, exploring our beautiful great outdoors, gardening, and trailing after her own super energetic young dog exploring the trails and swimming holes nearby.
